From Katrina Kaif to Sonakshi Sinha… will it work for Dyna Beauty Soap?

Katrina Kaif was a top model when she started endorsing Dyna in the year 2007. By 2009 she was the most sought out actor in Bollywood. There is no doubt that her presence in our packs, POPs and TVCs added to our sales. In just 4 years, from nothing to India’s fastest growing soap. The graph of both Katrina and Dyna looks identical, from nothing to the top in a very short span. January 31st, 2010, was the end of Katrina’s association with Dyna, and the hunt for the new face started.





The newest entrant and the lead actress of the biggest box office hit Dabangg, Sonakshi Sinha is the New face of Dyna. The daughter of legendary actor parents Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha. Born with great acting genes and an amazing on-screen persona, Sonakshi has been slated as Bollywood’s ‘complete package’


Her role as a coy village damsel won her praise and recognition from various fraternities such as Waves, Aaj Tak, Apsara, Star Screen Awards, Zee Cine Awards, and Filmfare Awards. With great reviews backing her performance, Sonakshi is all set for success. Above that, this beauty, who was named among the 50 most beautiful personalities in India, has a pure heart of gold. She believes in giving back to society and as a part of her duty towards humanity she donates apart from every paycheck that she earns to Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human Foundation’ 🙂


Strategically, many questions arise…

  • How long will the association last, will it be fruitful to both?
